SEK Rooster

Post  RoosterLew on Thu Mar 28, 2013 9:07 pm

Hey everyone.
I'm a renewbie- I used to raise chicks, but live in town so always had to get rid of them.
Moving to the farm finally and finally get to have a flock of my own!

Welcome...

Cant really help you with finding the chickens and I too have the "city limits" problem. Doesnt stop us from hatching and selling them though! We do raise rabbits and quail....patiently waiting for the country life....

It's going to be a few weeks before I'm ready for them. Have not made the move yet.
Yep everyone seems helpful here !
Im a bit nutty, hope y'all can handle my hijynks, lol. Though I'm "renewed" to chickens I'm def not an amateur on forums. I was a moderator on a racing forum for quite awhile. Another forum, coolridesonline.net sponsors my racing mower. That's my other passion and where I picked up the " Rooster" monicker.

Ohh Im not going to be set-up to be doing any hatching anytime soon!
I did find a gal in Onaga with both the GLW's and The Wellies and can hatch them when I want them.

I can hatch you some wellies for you this summer after this year I dont plan on keeping the wellies any more. I have BCM eggs in my bator now so it will be at least 22 days before I can set eggs unless I get a broody. Any way I could hatch you some and you can get them next time your in the KC area. By the way welcome Rooster Lew.
